Wow, just as good as last time.. orange wines are definitely growing on me. Loads of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg-esque baking spices on the nose. Dried apricot, lychee, and browned butter. The palate is creamy but fresh at the same time - notes of peaches, more apricot, orange peel.. really cool stuff. Cataratto from Mt. Etna

Must say, this is just like the wines we produce. Knew it was gonna be orange, didn't know it would look just like Balistreri Orange wines; how grandpa, the Sicilian, makes them. Lots of honey and petrol on the nose, pallet is heavy with burnt honey, walnuts, husk and rustic citrus. Dry and traditional like grandpa makes em. Alcohol shows through nicely.

Anyone drinking Balistreri whites will feel right at home with this guy. Classic orange white color with tangerine bitterness on the finish, and a beautiful nose of citrus fruits.

Super fun skin contact (orange) wine from Sicily. Toasted nuts and burnt orange zest explode out of the glass. On the palate, prickly tannin zesty acidity and a long complex finish. Super fun getting lots of oxidized notes from these skin contact bottles. Really pairs with a lot of foods in particular spicy ‘nduja pizza 🤌👌

Orange, funky, slightly metallic but lightens to an apricot flavor

Honey, peach blossom and apricot, with clear skin contact (in a good way!) High acidity and low RS makes it a good pairing for food. Nice sub for rose if you’re tired of rose and want something fresh and structured.
