The 2016 Syrah Watch Hill Vineyard is dense, powerful and super-concentrated. Inky blue/purplish fruit, lavender, menthol, licorice and spice notes are all amped up in this rich, beautifully resonant Syrah. Dollops of Viognier add brightness and floral top notes, but the Watch Hill remains a pretty big, yet nuanced, wine. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, September 2018) — 7 years ago
Light straw color. Expressive nose with aromas of lime zest, pear, gooseberry, and freshly cut grass. Medium bodied featuring flavors of ripe lime and green apple. Crisp, refreshing finish with vibrant acidity. Andrew Rich and Croft Vineyards from whom the fruit is sourced are amongst the few Willamette Valley producers of Sauvignon Blanc. Single vineyard bottling. 14.1% alcohol. $22. — 8 years ago
