Would guess Macon blind good stuff — 4 years ago
Really impressed with this for $20. Floral, aromatic nose. Certainly orange in the glass. Full bodied with a touch of tannin. Earth, and a distinct bergamot note. Great on its own but would be great with grilled chicken or prawns. — 5 years ago
Mindboggling Scheurebe!! Nose of herbal elements like sage and lavender over grapefruit and passion fruit. Wow. So wafting. Palate is complex and chewy with stunning balance and purity. It’s so well woven and integrated. Wow. Long and complex finish keeps pushing. — 6 years ago

Morillon vom Opok
Biodynamic Chardonnay from Steiermark.
Cloudy, smokey, yeasty, sappy, fresh!
Bruised apples, ripe lemons, underripe pineapple, green mango. Plus some hay, flinty, smokey aromas. Juicy, fresh, enticing.
On the palate with vibrant acidity, with great freshness & depth. Rough around the edges, with a touch of cidery notes, a bit of VA. There’s a creamy touch to the mouthfeel. And a mineral hint. This is ultra drinkable and so delicious. Love it! — 2 years ago
I love this wine. Superb florals. Lilacs, violets, roses, spice, melon, so unique and distinctive. Spiced apricots. So complex. Palate a ripe, citrusy and complex. So juicy and fresh and incredibly mineral with an engaging bitterness and savory quality on the finish. Lovely texture and especially intriguing and deep structure. Love this. Long and balanced, with awesome freshness. Exhibit A on how to get freshness from a low acid grape. Bravo! — 4 years ago
This is the kind of thing you can only get inexpensively in Europe. Crispness belying it’s age. The vegetal notes from the Sauvignon balanced by the Chardonnay. I’d love to try it again in a decade. This was superb. — 6 years ago
Explosive, blazingly bright, aromatic fireworks. — 7 years ago
Breaktime from Xmas shopping with a refreshing lift from the Isarco Valley. Kerner is a personal favorite. With its lilting crisp acidity, white florals, honey, slate, and ripe green apple. Tiny bit of flabbiness which I'll chalk up to a bad vintage but makes up for it with a reasonably long finish. — 7 years ago

Electric! Wow what acid. Insane purity. Floral like nothing else. Kumquat, white flowers, tree bark, crushed rocks, mulch, lime zest, candied lemons, so complex, it’s crazy. Huge acid, huge depth, huge minerals, huge extract, so elegant, confectionary, pure, clean. So so so so good. Perfect, fruit, mineral, everything. — 4 years ago
Love this wine, we paid 36 USD. Worth every penny — 4 years ago
Importer is Lyle Fass. Not available in Retail. So much Riesling fruit! Quite tropical and rich. Mango, 🥝, Gooseberry. Seems to have a hint of sweetness. Plenty of acid. It’s so overwhelming right now and needs more time to settle down. Grown on granite i think on the slopes of the Black Forest. — 5 years ago
Highly aromatic, apricot, full-bodied, medium alcohol. — 6 years ago
Green Muscat from Austria. This is the first time I've had this varietal. Very unique nose of soap stone. Really enjoyed this wine. Kudos to Dr Carney. — 8 years ago
