The aroma made me think of a memory from where I grew up which was like the fresh scent of a warm summer's day after a heavy downpour that has rinsed the floral and ancillary scents away but left the smell of its foundation in the humid air. Your mouth is greeted with a well balanced low tannic treat that remains on your palate like a warm wonderful memory. This is a very pleasant surprise of a Rosé. Deep gold in the glass. Big bosomy nose of ripe red apples and old honey. Echoed on the palate with dried flowers and white pepper. Then layers upon layers of ancillary flavors from hay to pomes to nuts. In a real sweet spot now. — 10 years ago
