Blend of green and yellow. Sooooo smooooooth. The first sip covers the cost of admission. More please. — 9 years ago
One whiff of the bouquet is worth the price of admission. Dark jammy fruits, touch of oak and herbs. Well done- @Donald Patz — 10 years ago
Aromas worth price of admission — 11 years ago
Good example of Pinot noir. Earthy, wet leaves, subtle red fruit. Lighter body, medium acidity. Defiantly worth the price of admission — 11 years ago
Hickory dickory dock this wine was ripe and chock, full of cherry, and other kinds of berry, and paired so well my pan-roasted...pork. Young enough that the hint of oak was slightly out of balance. The final 100ml was gorgeous. Well worth the price of admission. — 11 years ago
Seamless beauty, another text book example of what Malbec blend should and can be. I know what I want, and you want what I know. A stunning gem, with long term cellar potential. Long silky tannins, amazing structure and a vivid long finish. Layers of currant, polished dark plums, a sultry smoky quality will captivate you, but its ample lithe plushness will seduce you. Great depth and presence for so very few dollars. I paid $27, so worth the price of admission. — 11 years ago
This one (2013) hits plenty of high points for me. Citrus, good acidity and consistent from start to finish. Great food wine. Well worth the price of admission. — 11 years ago
The spice and minerality on the nose are worth the price of admission.. Citrus and underlying chalk are also prevalent. Great palate, with citrus, spice, stone, kiwi and great acidity. Three bottles left, and wishing I had more.. 11.5 ABV btw, awesome. — 12 years ago
Worst cork removing experience ever...but totally worth the price of admission. Powerful fruity nose erupts; gamey garnet. — 13 years ago
A crowd pleaser. Flora Springs shows another "minor major" winner with this blend. Typical Napa fruit characteristics, but age has settled well on this wine giving it elegance but without losing too much fruit. Fine tannins are understated for a Napa blend but it is still well-balanced. Perhaps not as transcendent as some of the bigger players, but well worth the price of admission and a fine wine in its own right. Drink now - 2019. — 13 years ago
68 degrees in Chicago in November, the Chicago Cubs are the World Series Champs in an amazing comeback after being down 3-1, and I'm drinking an SQN Papa sitting on my deck after a spectacular Cubs rally with about 5 million other Cub fans in Grant Park. Doesn't really get much better. Oh, and the wine is singing ("Go Cubs Go, Go Cubs Go, Hey Chicago, What Do You Say, Cubs Have Finally Gone All The Way"). The nose on this wine is well worth the price of admission. Simply stunning. Manfred is still the mark for all winemakers to shoot for. — 10 years ago

So yummy. . The smell alone is worth the price of admission . The taste is divine . Foot trodden like this is the way wine is supposed to be made — 11 years ago
Unbelievable Chardonnay. Absolutely worth the price of admission. I would have gladly paid more. Delicious! — 11 years ago
Very very light in color. The palate has volume and is smooth. Straight forward direct press juice. A fun and unique cork dork white. The aromatics really open up closer to room temp. Watching people decipher the label vs. color is worth the price of admission. Stand alone white. — 11 years ago
Great Gattinara, Batman! Beau-tee-ful Nebbiolo. Hard to distinguish from a very good Barbaresco aside from slightly softer tannins. The perfume alone is worth the price of admission. — 13 years ago
Citrus, crushed shells, oily, chalky nose. Just the smell is worth the price of admission. Initially citrus, hen immediately almonds and oil, and a lingering shells and mineral finish. Love Roulot. — 9 years ago
Young. Starts closed, tannic, and with structured acidity. With time and 2.5hrs of decant opens into a floral well balanced wine with blackberry and bramble flavors. Quite tasty and well worth the admission. — 10 years ago
The somm at the hipster resto was totally judging us for shortlisting different styles of wines. I guess that's the price of admission for having broad tastes. Anyway, I just wanted to know which of our options sucked the least, and after Mr. Wine Guru was done throwing shade ("none of our wines suck"—lolz), he offered this bottle, saying it was a personal favourite at a great price point. Being down-sold to something this delicious was more than enough to absolve his sins. (He was also kind of handsome, which also helped.)
Crisp acidity on my first sip softened nicely as I downed half a dozen New Brunswick oysters and a healthy portion of fancy fries (or "pomme frites", as I was almost able to utter with a straight face). Bring me bottles of this in July and August and we'll sip them in the park or comfort of my air conditioned apartment. — 11 years ago
100% Sangiovese and well worth the price of admission. Big wine, needs a little time but definitely won over the table last night. — 11 years ago
Hold the phone, amazing soul and substance from thee most amazing Piemonte vintage of recent note. This wine, which I just ordered for my store, is like a majestic equine, power under control. Not an audacious bragger, not a cocktail for afternoon drinks. Oh no, selling for under $40, this wine will wow those who consider themselves in the 'know' and for those who don't, it will leave you scratching your head, wondering what all the 'fuss' is about. Love #Barolo ?? But the price of admission is too steep, grab this one for the cellar, you won't be disappointed. #wine #delectable #wiyg #blackandwhite #photography #winelover #hashtags — 11 years ago
An outstanding example from my favorite white wine region. Strong citrus (lime, pith) and minerality are balanced with light floral and stone fruit on the nose and mirrors on the palate. Moderately high acid that dances over the tongue and would be perfectly paired with seafood tapas. The finish lingers for over a minute, pulling the taster back for another sip. An impressive effort and well worth the price of admission. Drink now till 2017. — 11 years ago
Used as a 'varietally correct' Pinot noir for an Intro to Food and Wine Pairing class. Cherry with bright vanillin in the nose. Slightly sweet in the nose, elegant and enticing. Hints of baking spice and bright pine sap. In the mouth the wine is bright and lively with good grip and bright acidity. Spot on and delish for the price of admission. — 12 years ago
The best way to explore the Grand Marques is from a close-out bin. Well worth that price of admission... — 13 years ago

Spectacular, not at the level of Brett but incredible Syrah, worth price of admission, no doubt . Incredible wine — 9 years ago
