De Toren Fusion V 2001 please!!!
4Aug2019 evening, with our AMS’dam gang.. A fabulous dinner with a magnificent wine to match it!! — 7 years ago
This is fun! Dried Grenache from California makes a lighter, more food friendly wine than it’s dried grape counterparts. Nice acidity, medium concentration, beautiful petal flavors. — 7 years ago
The color of ballet slippers with strawberries on the nose. The taste is a tiny bit fruity; (I get berries like strawberry and raspberry) but it ends with crispness and minerality. — 9 years ago

Just a great value!!! — 9 years ago
Heavy plum notes with a subtle tannic finish. Undetectable molasses. — 10 years ago
Amazing Shiraz! — 11 years ago
When compared side by side with Liparita's less expensive Rutherford Cab release, V Block can be likened to a parent's favorite offspring. Although both wines may share similar genetic material and upbringing, V Block has gained more dimension and self confidence through increased care and attention from infancy. #ridiculous :p — 11 years ago
Awesome! Left it for a week after opening it and it got better — 11 years ago
A hot area in the south of Portugal so unique for this white varietal — 12 years ago
Lightly fizzante, orange blossom and green apple. A light delicate but flavorful wine that reminds me of summer picnics. — 7 years ago
Had this bottle in Oaxaca,Mexico. It was a wonderful bottle. — 7 years ago
Almond extract and honey on the nose. In the mouth the honey shines with orange marmalade and a hint of bourbon. This dessert wine matched well with cherry clafoutis. — 9 years ago
Tastes a lot like Nebbiolo. — 9 years ago
Rich and dense fruit, layers and layers of complexity. Just starting to open up and reach its potential. Its in such a great place right now but has many years ahead of it. — 10 years ago
A favorite at Mon Ami — 11 years ago
Little slow to open, and then good drinking, full bodied, had this with a rib eye and spaghetti bolognese, good fit as its big in flavour — 12 years ago
A little sweet. Very refreshing! — 7 years ago
Mulled and grilled dark fruit nose with charred fruit notes. Big dark fruit forward on the palate transitioning to molasses and caramel. A medium acid finish with the molasses lingering. It can use decanting to open up. Like most Zins, this wine cries out for a food pairing, and is too fruity for my tastes as a stand-alone sipping red. — 8 years ago
Slight barnyard funk on the nose along with cherry pie and and strawberry tart. Vanilla, black tea, plum, strawberry, and blackberry cobbler on the palate. A well balanced chewy and sizzling finish. A medium bodied, fruity cab. — 9 years ago
Heavy and full for a Zin... but damn is it tasty! — 9 years ago
A pinot noir with structure and depth. Nice spice and hint of tobacco. Dark fruits on the palate, medium to high acidity and slightly bitter undertone. Mineral and clean finish. For a price under 40, this 1er is of great value — 10 years ago
A Napa standard. Nicely balanced. Bit of fig and clove at the end smooth and clean overall. — 11 years ago
A light and refreshing taste — 11 years ago
Really taste the caramel and toffee, a great desert port. — 12 years ago
