2012 ready now w/ big fruit and complexity — 8 years ago
Of the 2 Bordeaux drinking the best tonight, but long term the Brane-Cantenac 2005 will outlive this wine by 10 years easy. While very complex, a fine touch a green is traceable.
A classic currant and forest floor nose, fall leaves abound with a spike of spice and a barely there green that while subtle is apparent.
The pleasure here is higher for its more mature tasted and feel, while the brawny 2005 is a better wine it was not as enjoyable to me and feel it will be another notch enter in 3 years, and likely 2 notches better in 5.
The elegance and feel on this wine is ready to go and will easily go another 5+ years. — 9 years ago
Excellent. Full body — 9 years ago
1/2 bottle with low neck fill and perfect cork. Probably just smell the cork all night as beautiful purplish color and tight seal on top. Wine drank amazingly well but certainly lacks the depths of a better vintage. Good tannins and acid left as well nice core of fruit that was there for 15 minutes. — 10 years ago
Fruity and slightly floral with notes of cherry, berry and cassis with hints of lilac and a smooth spicy finish. — 10 years ago
Amazing cab franc. Dry and intense — 12 years ago
2014 vintage. Light-medium body. Excellent cedar and tobacco notes floating amidst the soft tannin treatment. Verry harmonious currently. Maybe 2-3 years more before hitting the absolute top of the bell curve. Maybe. This vintage is rocking right now and arguably at its absolute zenith. So good. 8.8.24. — 9 months ago
Oddly enough had to go to Ohio to drink Ca grapes. Solid Barbera. Let it sit for a bit and when it opens , dam. That’s a good wine — 3 years ago
Drinking so nicely on day #2. Refreshing and bright, with a slow weighted finish. — 5 years ago
It was delicious! — 7 years ago
Beautiful wine that continually evolved over the two hours it was open. We consumed 2 bottles and the second bottle was more powerful, slightly more forward tannins and acid than the first bottle which seemed a little more constrained/reserved. Flavors of black plums, dry cherries, hints of sage and tobacco - classic Mouton. Quickly replacing 1985 Vintage Mouton as my fav. Love it.

I'm sold on Location's wine. This blend isn't super dry (my preference) but it's not sweet either (no thanks). Will be buying more from them. — 8 years ago
Given the price this wasn't bad. Not terribly well integrated, but still seems like it could age a bit. Will see how it is on day 2. — 9 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Best on Day 2. The 2019 pours a pale garnet color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of Morello cherries, red roses, tangerine, pomegranate, talcum powder, dried sage, truffle, and dried stony earth. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and savory. A lovely expression of 2019 Barbaresco. Drink now with patience and through 2049. — 9 months ago
