Nice fruit, and some earthy, mushroomy complexity, but starting to feel quite a bit tired. Structure is largely dissolved and so it’s a bit washy at this point. The wine likely lacked the intensity to go this far. Regardless, Pax’s wines rarely disappoint. See my review of the 2012 Gap’s Crown PN for a much more successful bottle with similar age.

Wears its Sonoma Coast breeding well. First time one of Pax's Pinots has hit the same delicious spot that his Syrahs do for me. Yum and classy.

Saying goodbye to my sister before a long trip to SoCal, so I opened a wine we love. @PaxMahle @WindGapWines

Slightly more acidic than the bottle I had in California, sour cherries and orange zest.

Only 308 cases produced. Pax is the winemaker and owner sourced fruit. Only 12.4% Alcohol red raspberry fruit light spice and minty floral highlights very spicy. Zesty red berry fruit with nice amount of brown spice and some green mint. Finish 35+ very good

Quite floral at first with an alluring smoke component. Red fruit and asian spices abound with that potpourri trace lingering. Nice acidity and soft, polished tannins leaves you wanting another sip. Love Pax’s wines.

Visual: algo turbio.

Nariz: fresa, frambuesa, con aromas notables a tabaco, humo y tierra.

Boca: tanino M-, Acidez M, Alcohol M. Buen balance.

Abrio mejor despues de 30 minutos. Aeracion o decantacion recomendado.
