Saturday night with close friends and we have opened the 2015 Williams Selyem Terra de Promissio Vineyard Pinot Noir.
The nose has nice fruit of cherry, raspberry, strawberry, cola, vanilla, eucalyptus, an earthy note and an slight oak.
On the palate is cherry, raspberry that runs a little tart, a mint note that is pleasant, vanilla, and an oak component that brings it together.

Ripe year with drought made a sweet and lovely early drinking wine. Shows typical blood orange and tea and drinks great now. Doesn't seem to have the stuffing for aging though.

Very lovely wine, super, super intense raspberry jam nose. Too bad it was a lightweight with acidity slightly out of whack
