A heavyweight version of the ‘17. Lemon pith, wet rocks, yellow fruits. It’s bigger and richer, but the acids are there to support it. Special.

Nada on the nose. Little in the mouth except brutal acid.

When it first opened it was lemon/lime juice tight. After about 90 min it’s expanded to whole grapefruit mouthful, really good brown sugar, ginger spice and turmeric on the nose. Please decant this wine.

Many feel Keller is the best in Germany right now - known for the dry spectrum of German white varietals. Though the label says Gruner Silvaner, I think it’s only Silvaner. Take your time here. It will taste basic at first. And it is the entry from Keller. But it’s so well balanced in all of its acid and the kiss of fruit. So honest and quiet and soulful that you can’t help but listen.
