Made by Jan Wongse of Raumland and Felix Keller at Keller, from Theresa Breuer’s Roseneck vineyard (leased I believe). A unicorn. Marginally less extract than the Keller wines on the table I felt, but the complexity and precision was awe-worthy. A really filigreed rendition of Rheingau (perhaps atypical of this vineyard?). Lime, grapefruit, nectarines, mandarin, flowers, fresh herbs, and sea spray. Pure, fresh, and airy on the palate, yet still manages to bring about some beautiful silky textures. Laser acidity and an incredibly salty spine, along with some spices in the backend. Impressive really and if anything, shows that the future is in very good hands.
