Feb 16th, 2017Hard to be fair to this wine after coming off an 82 Monty . It's tightly wound currently with some lemon custard. a touch of oak , saline , stone fruit blossoms , herbs. One the palate the tart apple dominates with an acidic finish . I'm going to follow this over a couple days to be fair to it.

I 💗 this producer & especially their Bee 🐝 Block Chard but I sure love this one to 😍 Great quality @ £43 👍 Not oaked or too syrupy - nicely balanced 😉 Varner make great 🇺🇸 Chardonnays 😎

Started off with a petrol nose. Blew off and evolved into more floral scents and flavors. Chardonnay, so still some oak, but delicate and refreshing.
