I opened this in 2019 maybe a bit past its ideal drinking date. The color was a deep brownish red and the nose was mostly leather. The first taste was of plum of raisin. But after decanting the wine opened up and was mellow and savory. The tannins were mild and well rounded. Long legs.

2014 - $20
This vintage contains 50% #sangiovese 30% #merlot 20% #cabernetsauvignon
Could basically describe this wine as a bowl full of mixed chocolate-covered #coffee beans and cherries. Also some nice #driedfig and tons of black/blue berries. A nice dried-floral component on the palate, plus more #chocolate cherries and a very interesting evergreen component that revealed after 30 minutes or so.
