Gap's Crown Vineyard Chardonnay

15' Trombetta Gap's Crown. Everything you love about California Chardonnay. Not quite as good as the 14. Love it.

15' Trombetta Gap's Crown Chardonnay. I've purchased a case of the 2014(rarely do) I was so very impressed with the wine. Now I know it's wasn't a fluke. This 15 is just as bad ass as the 14. The nose floral & spice. The palate is so unbelievably balanced, between tropical fruits/ oak- vanilla / acidity. The finish is long & inviting. I'm also guessing between a third & 50% new oak. This bottle won't last long on anyone's table. Highly recommend! Edit- Let it open up in the glass for 30 minutes. Love it!

This is an extremely impressive #chardonnay with a profound nose that is full of spice, flowers, and perfectly ripened fruit. The palate is tight but just as complex and exciting as the nose. Med + acid, med + alcohol that is well integrated. Oak is present but in an appropriate way. The length was outrageous. #trombettafamilywines #sonomacoast #gapscrown #california #ctbucklinwine
