A disappointment for a TJ’s Grower’s Reserve. Didn’t stand a chance following a much better wine. Drinkable, but just.

Very drinkable. Falls in line with other TJ’s reserves; consistently good, if not stellar. This one leaned more towards the good…

Definitely not a Zin in flavor profile. Too light jammy.

Well, for $6 it’s pretty good. Lower alcohol than expected and less jammy than many paap Robles zin. Dark black berry, ripe ripe raspberries, a little baking spice, and med plus tannin. Better day 2. Only 13.5 alcohol which made this zin a little more graceful than expected. I’d be disappointed at $30 but pretty damn happy at $6.
