If you will excuse the baseball euphemism, Cheval does not play small ball. And this venture in Argentina is brilliant. This one has been on her side long enough to enjoy long ball now, as in very long finish. And a fab value at < $100

Third time having this wine and by far the most successful. This wine benefits from patience and focus. It is long, rich and complex. I have had it just casually with meals and liked it okay. But given a bit more focus, I can appreciate some of the true greatness in the bottle. User error? Maybe but it is not too late to do better
