Classic nose of petrichor, damp stones, and stone fruit. Palate brings even more excitement. Heavy on the palate, yet still races. White flowers, petrol, apple, phenomenal texture. Outstanding CA Riesling.

Surprised by the slight sweetness compared to other bottlings, but Graham's site indicates the Vandenberg cuvée includes some botrytized fruit. Wonderful texture, stone fruit with a bit of apple and honey. You'll probably enjoy it more if you go in thinking Spät rather than Trocken.

Love the use of some botrytis in this wine. It adds so much texture and weight to it and develops more complexity as the Riesling ages. Out of the few vintages I have had, 2014 seems fairly ripe but still well balanced and can hold up to a myriad of dishes!
