Patelin de Tablas Paso Robles Syrah Blend

Nice Rhone style, layered red and black fruits, dry finish, medium complexity, body and acidity.

Not too serious of a wine but I don't think it's trying to be. Good example of restraint considering where it's grown and the varietal composition.

Light style Syrah and easy to drink. Black cassis, black plum, blueberries, black licorice, dark dry earth, edgey minerality, dry crushed rocks, soft and the lighter side of black pepper, soft leather, purple florals, tumbleweed and decent acidity.

2013 - tasty- juicy lightly smoky fruit. Gulp Able red.

Like everything from Tablas Creek, this blend is excellent. Just the right wine to say goodbye to vino, and hello dry month (1/3/16). And trying the same bottle again - first glass of wine after 30 days - 2/4/16. Yum. Rating stands. Really good Rhone style blend.

Great tasting light to medium bodied wine that is with twice the price.

Great Syrah blend
