Signature Mendoza Malbec

One of the best Malbec's I've had in awhile. Very smooth profile of dark Berry fruits. Very balanced and everything is in it place. Superb steak companion.

Pretty, floral ripe dark berries. Very rich w beautiful texture. Some tannin on finish. Highly rec.

earthy, herbal... notes of tea leaves and tobacco. uncharacteristically long finish for a Malbec. opened two bottles of the same vintage and the second bottle exhibited none of the above. it was flat on the nose and seemed almost watered down by comparison. proof that every barrel is different.

2012 is 92pct Malbec/8pct Cabernet aged 13 months in 80pct new and 20pct second year French oak. Great wine that tastes way above its cost. Love the oak in this one.
