Wow! Acidity, bright fruits, plums, strawberry, some flowers. Great tannin. Perfect pizzaiolo night wine with the fam. Went with the pizza, pasta, salad, and fried chicken! This is even more unique than broc vine Starr as far as light bodied acidic zins go. Interestingly it still has that hint of jam that screams CA zin. Lovely.

That ain’t your momma’s Zin. Bright, highish acid. No flab. Open knit natty feel. Apparently has a splash of Wirz Riesling in it. Cherry fruit. Tasty. A little wild.

This is not your typical overripe jammy 7 Deadly Zins... I love this new wave of California Zinfandel. Crunchy black cherry, sweet plum, anise, clove, chocolate, some menthol. Tannins and acidity upfront; most importantly... dry!
