2011 - Extraordinary wine on so many levels. So aromatically complex with aromas of mentholated cherries, forest floor, mushrooms, vanilla and cedar. Flavor was so rich and distinct.

We had the 2011 Vintage on 1/28/24. Tastes of raspberry, leather and tobacco. Well balanced, medium bodied, Old World style. Went very well with dinner from Carmelo’s. More fruit forward and with an ABV of 15.5%. Real good , but there are better Brunellos

2 of 3 wines we tried tonight. Extremely smooth Brunello. Lighter bodied than the Shane and Arkenstone but held its own. Nice finish and smooth fruits.
