Sadly corked 😢 my last bottle. I could taste the amazing complexity under the cork taint, what a disappointment, so glad this wine now under screw cap!

Tannin is fine. Good fruit and sweat core. Blue fruit and powdery. Good level of acid and mellow finish

Too alcoholic and porty, especially when compared to the refined 97 and the more tightly structured 99 and 00. The 99 is the pick of the four. (Bests Thompson Family 01 better still.)
