From thawed out frozen bottle. Wine had no flaws. Big, rich, ripe, dark. Leaner than what I'm used to from Saxum, but still delivers immense flavor.

Better than I remember broken stones being. Really delicious stuff and goes great with a Kansas steak!

Unbelievable...crushed rock, cedar, violets, black berry. Gorgeous acid and tannin. Finish sails

Mar 19th, 2015This wine from Saxum is a great value — smooth, even fruit; great balance overall. 79% syrah, 7% petite sirah, 7% grenache, 5% mourvédre. 97 points from Robert Parker and $129 when I bought it from K&L although market looks more like $160 now.

minimal air needed, not a day 2 wine so drink up after opening.
Age has really improved this one, had it on release and it was a mistake to open that soon.
