Light garnet red. Lots of herbs and smoky notes on the nose. A little stinky too with black pepper, funk, dark crushed gravel, red berries and even a touch of roses. Low tannins (4/10) with moderate plus acidity. Layers of raspberries, strawberries, twigs, meaty, floral and a touch dusty. Light bodied with a very dry and long finish. Needed a 30+ minute decant. Drink till 2024.
