'S' Blanc de Blancs Le Mesnil Brut Chardonnay
Fruits and acidity are still there with the bruised peaches and golden apple hints. Got a little cooked though.

Apr 23rd, 2017Quite developed, indicative of the vintage, you have to like a little sherry notes, but still great acidity.

Feb 16th, 2017Salon just the name alone stands for rare -collectible - authentic Champagne. This bottle of 1995 did not disappoint in fact I believe it's the greatest salon I have ever had. Are used to sell salon back in the day vintages 82 - 85 - 90 - this one is only made in select vintages & 1995 is superb. It's features it's patented laserbeam styling from Le Mesnil. The nose was focused on citrus / Lemon curd and you could smell the chalk & limestone that protected the freshness of this acid driven style for the last 20 years. there's no brioche there's no butter or Caramell in salon it's pure acid with a right hook of lemon curd and it is spectacular and unrelenting and i'm not lovable and less you enjoy the pleasure of the Payne.
