It's hard to overstate how cool this is. The perfect Italian analog from CA.

Aglianico from Paso Robles you ask? Of course, says Ryme. Big and brawny, perhaps a little overripe- think Taurasi with less elevation. Great job capturing Aglianico's essence.

Aggressive acidity, nice structure. This wine will develop over the years. @RymeCellars

This is a wild one. Huge nose of cherry liqueur that isn't matched at all in the mouth. Long finish with coconut notes. Decant if you have because there's a lot of sediment in there.

Luscious and well-balanced with just enough minerality.

Still tightly wound, but tannins are beginning to soften and flavor to blossom

Our first experience with aglianico - a bit of a tannic beast (in a good way) - opened beautifully after an hour.
