Tried as part of my journey to find a reasonably priced alternative to the Duckhorn. Has some Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon blended in which gives it some nice fruit up front and some liquorice/spice in there. A bit dry/astringent at the start so let it breathe......Worthy option. Even my new world merlot bashing friend had a second glass. Will get some more.

Nose is earthy and fragrant. The texture is nice and chewy. Floral notes with black raspberry and a hint of spice. The wine on the finish gets a lot of cherry with smooth tannins. Buy more Merlot.
