Medium ruby in color; cherries, raspberries, and dried herbs on the nose; high acidity, high tannins, tastes like tart cherry, plum, and clay pot with a long finish. A good chianti. It hits all the notes I expect in a chianti. I'm sure it will pair well with my pasta tonight.
