My first ‘22, and I’m pleasantly surprised how nice and fresh this is considering the freakishly hot summer there. Nose has watermelon, strawberry, cherry, and lots of crushed stone. In the mouth it’s flavorful, crisp, and dry. It’s actually got a bit of tannin, creating a very slightly bitter aspect to the back half of the palate, which is pleasant and will actually lend itself to food. Nice on this extremely humid evening!
