Green pepper and ?green?wood on the nose... nothing off in the smell.. just hard pin down. The taste is earthy, medium tannic, fiiggy with barely a hint of cherry. This wine is not a fruity wine. Minerals, earth, and green astringent stems overwhelm any fruitiness this wine might exhibit. I don't hate it, but I surely don't love it!

It'll do in a pinch. Some Cabernet characteristics, but pretty fruity and lacks complexity.

Too jammy, which is something we’ve been noticing with Alexander Valley Cabs from 2014. Not undrinkable but not enjoyable. Will not buy this again.
