I think this wine is a bit overrated ... good but not great! Not as full body

St. Emilion’esque. Great example of Bordeaux varietals from the cooler end of Napa.

Napa or Bordeaux?

Sept 2, 2012. Dinner w/ J2, Doc and Jack. Doc brought wine. Some spice initially, great smokey Cab. More like an old world wine than Napa cab. Nice surprise.

Duck Liver Mousse, Short Rib Stracciatella, Wild Mushroom Fougasse - this wine paired perfectly with all of my carb-filled lunch selections! Can't wait to get home and buy some!!
