East Bench Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel

Overripe cranberry, red cherry and peach yogurt goodness. Slight heat on the finish.

I usually don’t love drinking Zinfandel but Ridge’s Zin is so good! Impressive to see it evolves in glass.

Excellent wine - especially when paired with grilled beef tenderloin, caramelized onion and potato cake and sautéed asparagus. Dense but light at the same time - ripe berry, oak, bittersweet chocolate and black pepper. Lingers on the palate. Yet another fantastic Ridge wine

Tasty Zin with lush fruit and not too overt American Oak. Ridge doesn't disappoint #ridgevineyards

Drought year really evident in the concentration. Very turley like.

2014 vintage in October 2022. Really appreciated paired with a roasted leg of lamb with fresh green beans and sweet potatoes, then French cheese with a fresh lettuce salad with pomegranate seeds a persimmon parsley and Dijon mustard house vinaigrette

03/13/21. Haskell as gift $37. Had with ribeye. It was a little disappointing as was not a good paring. It would of been better on own. Not as fruity, but smooth. Very light pepper.

Raspberry and red berries.

Dry with cherry, oak, and violet. Wish it was a little softer, but very rich. Better with food.

Solid, uncomplicated zinfandel. This cuvée is consistently better than the Three Valleys but less impressive and age-worthy than the Lytton Springs and Geyserville bottling. A mid-week wine at a fair price.
