Powerful American pinot. Nice to know the vineyard is owned by fellow GSBer!

No hints of 2008 smokiness here. Powerful, fleshy fruit & wonderfully fresh, cracking acidity. Tannins offer a subtle grip, plenty of structure still evident here. Excellent example of Sonoma Pinot.

Fresh still & showing spicy complexity. Earthy & acid driven. Fantastic Pinot Noir. Wish Rhys would continue with Alesia :(

2008. Drinking beautifully. Full bodied style with beautiful bright acid to balance the rich red fruit.

Large format. Earthy and anise. Needed every bit of an hour to get good. Went well with grilled pork loin.

This one was opened without my knowledge. "I hope it's not expensive" I was told. It was relatively expensive, but since it drinks cheap, the experience is worth money, because I won't be ordering more at that price!
