To pair with the Wagyu

Ramey’s Rodgers Creek Syrah is a longtime favorite and the 2015 (the ‘current’ vintage released in 2020) has lots of potential. Medium purple, minerals on the nose with a hint of blackberry jam, soft and smooth but gripping tannins on the back end. Hint of oak. Feels like it needs some more time to knit and hopefully let the fruit come a bit more forward.
