And the final wine tonight being used to tune up for tomorrow is the really nice Ramey - yes I know it's a baby - I am sorry - but just though I would drink young tonight - don't get mad 😡 at me please - still decanting - but it is a winner - really nice smooth and promise thus will age nicely - one sip and I say - wow - all four taste smell color and finish are talking on union and are saying big bold beautiful Napa cab - going to smile tonight and keep all night while I sleep - 😄😄😄😄

We had the 2013 Vintage on 4/23-24/23. A decade in the bottle has brought this wine to a great place. The tannins were all smoothed out. Full bodied, fruit forward, New World. A bouquet and palate of blackberry, plum, and mocha. Very good.

Apr 24th, 2023We had the 2013 Vintage on 11/19-20/21. This is a real good Cab. Interesting in that the fruit comes from the Valley floor and the hillsides. Tastes of cherry, plum and oak. The bouquet had tobacco and cassis. Full bodied and fruit forward.

Decent wine. Enjoyable, but I didn’t notice as much aroma or flavor as others are espousing. It is soft and round for a cab with the silky velvet tannins and good fruit and some spice and earth, just not super powerful which may be the goal. The best part was the smoothness and black fruits for a cab in Napa.

Oct 16th, 2021We had the 2013 Vintage on 1/1-2/21. So this was the first wine of 2021. A good one for sure. There were tastes of plum, current and oak. A little darker than most Valley floor wines. It is well balanced and truly New World

Part of the fun of getting old is forgetting or loosing things is that you ideally find them. Well no such luck today. I had this a while ago but I can’t find my notes and I have given up. I do remember enjoying it but sadly not the nuances that I enjoyed. I do have another bottle so I will update later. Sorry for the lack of useful information tonight.
