Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

A wonderful mouthful of California style Cabernet filled with structural elements which layer on vanilla. A blend of French oak balancing forward fruit in almost perfect balance. As good as California Cab gets.

Really nice! Darker black/blue fruit requiring 2-3 hours of air at this point. May give it another 2-3 years before sampling again.

Easily my favorite of the Quivet lineup. Smooth as glass with a dusty red fruit profile. Stunning.

Outstanding! Really dark, black fruit with licorice, cocoa, and gravel. So luxurious and velvety on the palate. Wow.

This wine dominated! It was preferred just slightly more than the 2015 carter verdad for its richness. The 2014 quivet piedras trailed those 2015s. The 2014 schrader piedras fell to the end of the pack. Of the 4 piedras schraders, the 2015 colesworthy magnum was the better one. The fait main was lost in the middle of the pack for me. The memento mori was overshadowed by the bigger wines around it.
