This is a beautiful blend of several local Douro varieties (and touring nacional playing only a supporting role) with lovely ripe black fruit aromas and plenty of black cherry on a long, well-balanced finish. Wonderfully eclectic wine.

Big and burly Red Blend made from native Portuguese varietals (Touriga Franca, Touriga National, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Amarela). Deep dark cherry and grilled herb aromas. Dark cherry and plum fruit flavors. Fairly smooth texture and the tannins are relatively soft. Not much of a mid pallet and the finish is a bit tight.

Delicious - nose is black fruits and herbs, and the taste follows with grippy tannins. Fantastic value!
