So sad that Produttori didn't make any 2010 crus. Lovely nose on the 09 Ovello: red licorice, tar and roses.

Lt red. Generous pretty red fruit with lots of acidity and still a grip of bitterness from the tannins. $65

2009 vintage. Enjoyed April 11 at Delfina. Solid choice with steak, duck and roasted chicken. High acidity, structured tannins and red fruit profile. Wouldn't be as much fun on its own. Straight Produttori Barbaresco offers a much better QPR.
