Awkward tannins and more one dimensional than expected. Lacked some of the langhe freshness

An honest, pure and approachable Nebbiolo. With its pretty red berries, rose petal, tea leaves and spice, this bottle proved that even a humble Langhe Nebbiolo deserves at least a few years in bottle.

Vivid red fruit, firm structure; open yet restrained; charming details of spices and flowers.

Big fruit, spicy oak, medium tannins. Great with braised pork shoulders and beef cheek!

Young, but in day 2 the sour cherry and roasted coffee notes came thru with an acidic dandelion salad vein throughout

Perhaps the best value wine out there at $18. Tar and red fruits, with seamless layers that continue unfolding until the bottle is toast.

Rose petals, soft red fruit, firm gritty tannin, #wine was $16.99 at retail. Holy value. Can't wait to see it day 2.
