Open since Friday night, still deep and thrusting flavor layers with an extra dimension from the air that adds a layer of complexity on the edges from the slight deterioration from oxygen. As per Barbera the tannin are silky and almost non-existent like they are absorbed completely into the wine. Awesome and if you can find it, 2010 or 2013 don't hesitate. More expensive but the massive quality makes up for it. One of the best wines of pleasure I have had so far in 2017.

Refreshing and complex, but not as good as Giaccomo. Better on day 2.

A bit of blackberry, tobacco and earth. It was pretty hot on the finish, showing every bit of the 15% alcohol. Good, not great.

If you like barbera, you'll love this...if you're patient. If you pop and pour it will seem like a larger bodies less flavorful Barbera. Give it 30 minutes and the fruits begin to show.
