Novemberโ€™s 4th Friday was a big hit. There is no way Iโ€™ll be able to upload all the wines, nor give them the reviews they deserve, but there were a few worthy of mentioning!

New wine to me but right up my Syrah alley. Not as much funk driven as it is savory driven. Leaps from the glass with whole cluster aromatics of stems, sweet peppercorn spice, and very pure rhubarb tart. Light on the palate with added floral notes, smoked meat, iron and a finish of black pepper. Would like to try this again. Thanks

Very interesting Syrah from the central coast. Very vegetal and almost medicinal nose; bit of a canned black olive quality (not in a bad way). Full bodied, dark and deep on the palate. Nice.

Developed very well over the three days it has been opened. Showing delightful stem spice and whole cluster finesse. Black olive. Dark red fruit, and a strong sense of place.

Loved this for the purity. Strange to get this much acid that far south, appellation is close to the pacific which is the influence. More French in style, mineral and acid on the pallet. Nose was explosive.
