Still can use a few years. I remember buying this on sale for like… $35.

This was such a special wine to share with friends. It was velvety, deep and had subtle coffee tones. The nose was earthy and had the faintest liquorice scent. I’d go for this again anytime.

2011 vintage. Clean medium garnet colour. Medium body with cherries, cranberry and strawberry aroma. Dry with high tannin and acidity. Full body tarte with astringent note. Drys the mouth with a good finish. Not as good as the Banfi.
Retail £17 bought for £12.75 reasonable value.
