Rarely will you find a wine this smooth - for lack of a better description. Needed to open a little (and warm up) but this isn’t an overpowering wine. It’s beauty is in its subtlety.

This really showed well with good weight, balance & structure showing black berry fruits, plum, licorice, mint & vanilla spice.

Tight at first. Take your time with this one. Very subtle nose at first. Ripe cherries with a hint of purple/violets. Tobacco, leather, and truffled finish. '04 France vs. USA.
