Consistent time after time. I believe at this point the Hyde vineyard was transitioned to the Calera Clone. In a great place right now yet has another 10 years ahead of it, easy. While the fruit is there if your looking for a fruit bomb keep shopping.

Last but not least! We made it to @patzhall for the final flight of the day. 🙌🙌
Featured in this picture are some wines from the ‘Sparkling & Still Wine Tasting Flight’ and the ‘Library Flight.’
I tried the Library Flight and found all of the wines to be richly concentrated, with strong fruit flavor and complexity from the winemaking process. 🍷
I enjoyed them all, but especially loved the 2012 Hyde Vineyard Pinot Noir, which had candied cherry, strawberry, raspberry jam notes alongside violet, crushed rose petals, fennel, anise, leather, nutmeg, vanilla, mushroom, and earth notes. It had a delightful complexity and long, elegant finish. 👏👏👏
Almost 30 miles today on bike (to be fair they were eBikes 😉) with three tastings along the way and we’re ready for bed 🛌 😌 Cheers 🥂
