Great bandwagon to jump on! Like a violet chocolate fuzzy bear. Great to go now! In fact… so good out of the gate, that instant satisfaction might be its appeal. I played with it 3 nights, and it opened a bit after an hour, but didn’t reveal much more after that ( its great already). $44 at SF Flatiron. Buy of the year.

See my prior notes. Source your grapes outside of Napa and the bottle price (in general) drops like a lead-filled ballon. $50 bucks and drinks like a one’r.

Medium ruby in color with a nose of cream de cassis and blackberry cobbler. Very good, fruit forward nose which can be picked up even a little ways from the glass. Medium- bodied with great structure and fine-grained tannins. Medium acidity. Finish lingers nicely. Everything just seems to come together on this wine. Paid $45 for this, but it drinks as good as at least twice this price. Awesome value. Back up the truck…errr sedan for this.

Nariz: arandano, frambuesa, cereza, cacao, vainilla

Boca: frutoso y algo levemente dulce al ataque, Tanino M+, Acidez M/M-, Alcohol M+.

Guardaría 2-3 años mas, pero no mucho mas. A tomar relativamente joven.

Like any Great Cabernet, after 15 minutes it opened up and settled down. Nicely drinkable with food
