Went to a recent tasting and tried this wine that I also tried over a year ago. In a word terrible and past it’s prime. Deep Straw yellow (showing some oxidation) with stone fruit aromas and heavy oak spice (provably from wood chips). On the palate apple and hints of tart peach flavors with harsh spice. Big acidity, a bit harsh with an alcohol presence. Pass, not worth it. Tasting Sample.

Feb 25th, 2018Meh. I don’t mind a buttery Chardonnay now and again, but this one had strong overtones of banana, and fell flat at the end. Not really good in my opinion, and not very interesting.

Nice color of gold. Nose is nutty, ripe banana, a bit oak and spice, quite pleasant. Taste is also plenty of ripe banana, plenty of mineral, some oak, and a hint of sweetness. Aftertaste is a bit short with dominant minerals. Quite direct tasting experience and she deserves some good scores.
