Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

First of three in a vertical tasting last night

Third of the blind wines this evening. Super dark purplish ruby red. Tight yet thick nose of sweet spices, graphite and dark berries. Heavy tannins (8/10), this is a powerful wine. Full bodied with tons of dark spices, black cherries and a touch of bark. So strong yet velvety and silky. A bit of gravel in the never ending finish. Drink till 2038. (95+)

Smooth as hell, cherry and cocoa powder and cola. Great balance.

Luscious dark fruit with integrated tannic structure and a vanilla finish. A classic Napa Cabernet!

A Cabernet drinker’s Cabernet! Tannins are complex, fully integrated, and softened with age. Drinkable immediately even though this wine is far from mature!

Fruity.with longer finish. Layers. Loved it.
