TART and ripe at the same time. Who knew Nap could do this?

Amazing aroma. Star fruits and pineapple with out the sweetness in the mouth. Mouth feel is lovely. It’s very dry and pretty complex. Cut grass. Melons and pears. This is dope chard, and I don’t actually like Chard.

A complex Chardonnay from renowned producer Steve Matthiasson. Sourced from Linda Vista vineyard, in the Oak Knoll District, at the southern end of the Napa valley. (Due to its proximity to the San Pablo Bay and the cool winds from the ocean, average summer temperatures are considerably cooler than in the upper valley, making it an ideal area for Chardonnay in Napa). Fermented and aged in neutral oak. Apples, melon, some buttery notes on the nose. Green apple on the palate. Fresh, good acidity. Slightly creamy, rounder and fruitier than the Chablis tasted next to it. Mineral, a hint of salinity

This is one of those wines I just had to try… Very good Chard, tart beginning with a more ripe ending; as many have already noted. Really good over all, I’d definitely try this again and again.

An excellent, crisp chardonnay. Less oaky than Rombauer and less acidic than chablis.
