Plum, chocolate, caramel and oak nose with well balance of acidity and spicy finish. This ruby wine pairs well with steak and Holland Gouda cheese. Yum!

What a delicious bottle. a 13-year-old -hundred percent Aglianico-my first.
Tannins and fruits still doing their jobs. A wonderful wine.

They call Taurasi the 'Barolo of the south'. I think this beauty from Campania is more like an Italian Bordeaux. Opened up nicely over an hour or two. Needs some time. Cigar tobacco, rich earth, and crushed red fruit on the nose. Great acidity balances out the fruit to keep this lively on its feet. Dried herbs, fruit, and minerals. Really like this.
