Kröver Kirchlay Spätlese** Trocken Mosel Riesling

An elegant and deep nose with loads of deep stony minerality with a hint of petrol. There is also beautiful, juicy, peachy fruit underneath. And a pollen-like note. Whacks the mouth with intensity but then settles into a long finish with clinging aromatic notes of fruit and stone. Nice acidity, but it’s submerged in the flavors and subtle. Very rich for a dry Riesling.

Beguiling nose of slate, white peach, just ripe apricot, vulcanized rubber, herbs, and more. Super complex and refined. Palate is explosive and also refined, with amazing palate presence, density and mineral crunch. Really classy stuff for the amount of material here. Stunningly long citrus/stone fruit finish that is tightly coiled but incredible promising. The length of this is quite notable. Beautiful wine.

Super w some Asian food and loved ones. Even after all these years, crisp and dry with glorious odours.
